It all starts with the meeting of a European Explorer, Pierre Savorgnan Brazza and an African ruler, Makoko Peter 1 in 1880. Friendship sealed by two men using a Treaty committed the destiny of peoples and so a story that not only went through the ages, but also continents. It is this that would arise the Memorial Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza , high place of memory and culture, depositary of this story which attracts many observers around the world.
Just this Wednesday, January 14, 2015, Belinda AYESSA received on the steps of the Memorial a delegation from the United States and headed by the wife of David RODRIGUEZ, head of AFRICOM based in Germany. First attracted by the story told by Belinda AYESSA, the delegation was literally impressed by the monumental character of the building. They were astonished by this realization of the makoko box in the hall of the Memorial: the traditional in a modern decor. This no doubt explains the laudatory speech adopted by the head of the delegation when it is expressed in the book of the Memorial.
